Welspun Michigan Bags ₹247.7 Cr Ahmedabad Civic Contract

Welspun Michigan Engineers has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a major infrastructure contract floated by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

The project, valued at ₹247.7 crore, involves a design-and-build contract for the rehabilitation of existing sewer lines on the western side of Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Package-03). The scope includes upgrading and restoring ageing sewer infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and sanitation services in the rapidly growing urban area.

The project is expected to strengthen the city’s wastewater management system and contribute to long-term urban infrastructure sustainability. With its L1 position, Welspun Michigan Engineers is well placed to undertake a significant civic utility upgrade in one of India’s fastest-expanding cities.
